About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and complete pre:set work. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in education or those with experience working with young people in any capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during teacher absence across KS3 and KS4 Ensure students complete set work and remain focused Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Maintain a safe, structured and supportive learning environment Support student engagement across a range of subjects Report any issues or concerns to relevant school staff Follow lesson plans provided by teaching staff
Requirements:
Experience working with young people (schools, coaching, youth work or similar) Strong communication and behaviour management skills Confident, adaptable and professional approach Ability to build rapport with secondary:aged students Reliable and consistent availability
