Telford & Wrekin Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced leader, or an aspiring outstanding teacher with proven leadership capacity to join our team. The candidate will take a central role in assisting the Headteacher, Leadership Team and Governing body to develop our school in accordance with our values, ethos and school development plans. The role involves being Early Years Lead and working closely with staff to promote effective teaching and learning to secure the fundamentals for all our children, so they make a strong start on their learning journey. We are looking for a candidate who shares our passion for providing an inclusive, values‑driven education where every child is nurtured and encouraged to achieve their fullest potential.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Headteacher, Leadership Team and Governing body in developing the school in line with our values, ethos and development plans.
* Act as Early Years Lead and collaborate with staff to promote effective teaching and learning, ensuring fundamentals for all children.
* Inspire and empower pupils and staff to drive school improvement.
* Support the Headteacher and Leadership Team in delivering strategic goals and raising standards across the school.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experienced early years teacher with a demonstrated practice that secures outstanding teaching and learning in early years.
* Strong track record of middle or senior leadership, ready to embrace a new challenge.
