SEASONAL KITCHEN PORTER POSITION WITH INVITING EARNING POTENTIAL
A fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter has arisen to join our team at River Exe Café, a specialist seafood restaurant nestling in the heart of the waters of the Exe Estuary in Devon. We are an award-winning restaurant achieving highly prestigious accolades and you can be part of that too. The restaurant is surrounded by water and accessed only by boat. The daily meet point for work is Exmouth Marina.
As a member of the team at the restaurant you would need to be hard-working, responsible and well presented. You would need to be reliable, punctual and also have a thirst to learn in the kitchen environment as we are seeking to appoint somebody wishing to learn the skills to support the Chef Team.
Duties include:
* Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out efficiently
* Collect and wash kitchen equipment, in addition to service crockery
* Clean food preparation areas
* Maintain the storeroom, including regular stock-take of chemicals
* Assist the Chef's with food preparation and presenting desserts (when required)
Must be able to work evenings and weekends
The River Exe Cafe opens 1st April and closes 30th September.
Salary: Dependent on age and experience with sizeable gratuities.
