Assistant Team Manager - Family Support and Safeguarding

About the Role
We are looking for Assistant Team Managers to support Team Managers in developing and leading our Family Solutions Plus teams. As an Assistant Team Manager, you'll help lead a multi-disciplinary team comprising specialist adult workers and children's social workers to address parental difficulties and increase parenting capacity. With strong communication skills, you'll build successful relationships within your team, across the service, and with other professionals to shape, develop, and deliver effective services.
Your responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring assessment activities within the team, ensuring practice standards and timescales are met. You will maintain high standards of practice, work with the child at the center of all you do, and play a key role in improving team practice through coaching, supervising social workers, leading discussions and workshops, and updating the team on practice developments and research.
