Hybrid workingThe successful Geotechnical Design Engineer will be primarily office-based, responsible for the design and technical delivery of geotechnical projects, with some site involvement where required. You will work across a varied project portfolio including commercial, residential, healthcare, and infrastructure developments.
The role will involve ground investigation design, geotechnical analysis and assessments, slope stability calculations, Phase 1 and Phase 2 report writing, validation reporting, and the preparation of risk assessments. You will also support junior engineers, contribute to technical reviews, and work closely with senior and principal engineers on complex design solutions.
Requirements
To be considered for the Geotechnical Design Engineer role, you should:
Hold a degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, or a related discipline
Live within a commutable distance of the Liverpool office
