Moritz, discover Chesa Marchetta, our warm and welcoming 13-bedroom
hotel and 46-cover restaurant in Sils Maria, the cultural centre of the
Engadin.
Each of the 13 bedrooms, uniquely
designed by Luis Laplace, are furnished with traditional Engadin furniture and
artwork by local artists and artisans that reflect the history of the hotel and
the surrounding area. From our top floor family suite to our standard, superior
and deluxe rooms, each room has its own story to tell.
Our restaurant takes its inspiration
from Maria and Christina Godly’s famous and traditional use of seasonal
ingredients. It is open daily for dinner and offers a menu that celebrates the
marriage of Italian and Swiss cultures. A light lunch is available upstairs in
the bar.
We are recruiting a German-speaking Hotel
Reservationist who will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest
experience from the moment of enquiry. With a flair for hospitality and a sharp
eye for detail, you’ll be the first point of contact for many of our
guests at Chesa Marchetta —ensuring their journey with us begins seamlessly and memorably.
This role is based in Braemar,
Scotland and is supported by the team at The Fife Arms.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Handling hotel room reservation
enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
* Converting enquiries into bookings to
maximise room and overall revenue.
* Ensuring accuracy and attention to
detail in all reservation data and guest profiles.
* Responding to all enquiries
promptly—ideally within the same day, and no later than 24 hours.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of
room categories, hotel services, experiences, and F&B offerings.
* Ensuring clear and seamless
communication between the Reservations and Hotel teams.
About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and
professional individual who brings:
* Proficiency in German and English,
both written and spoken.
* Previous experience in a similar
luxury hospitality environment, with LQA/Forbes is an advantage.
* Familiarity with Opera Cloud
(preferred)
* Excellent communication and
organisational skills
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach
and the ability to work under pressure
* A natural passion for delivering
exceptional guest service
* A willingness to learn and grow within
a creative and ambitious team
As this position is located in Scotland, interested candidates must already have the right to work in the UK - it is not possible to secure visa sponsorship for this role.
