Overview
Our client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke mechanical machinery, operating at the forefront of engineering innovation. They are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their expanding team. This role is key to ensuring supplier and manufacturing quality, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards across all products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect incoming components and materials to ensure they meet specifications.
* Use precision measuring tools (verniers, micrometres, height gauges, etc.).
* Review supplier quality reports and coordinate corrective actions.
* Carry out internal audits and support ISO9001 compliance.
* Assist with 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams.
What Theyre Looking For:
1. Proven experience in a quality inspection role.
2. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
3. Hands-on experience with inspection tools and techniques.
4. Knowledge of continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
