Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of adult male ex-offenders? As a Wellbeing Practitioner – Prison Lead, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals to rehabilitate and reintegrate into society. Working within the Personal Wellbeing service, you will focus on four pathways: Family and Significant Others, Lifestyle and Associates, Emotional Wellbeing, and Social Inclusion.
You’ll manage a caseload of service users both in the community and custody, delivering tailored interventions that promote positive change. This includes helping individuals build coping skills, manage emotions, develop resilience, and foster pro-social behaviors. Additionally, you’ll work collaboratively with key stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure holistic support.
Qualifications
1. GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.Evidence of professional development.Relevant qualifications in criminology, social care, mental health, or similar fields (desirable).
2. Skills & Experience:
Proven experience working with offenders or disadvantaged individuals.Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and rehabilitation communication and motivational skills.Experience delivering 1:1 and group interventions.Ability to manage caseloads effectively and adapt to challenging environments.
3. Other Requirements:
