We are looking for a calm and empathetic SEN teacher ready to support primary children in a school based in Wakefield, WF6 area. This is a full time position from Monday through Friday (8:30AM - 3:30PM).
This specialist school provides profoundly inspirational settings and life-altering prospects for the children and young individuals they serve. They also extend a wealth of guidance, assistance, and specialised knowledge to parents, caregivers, and professionals, assisting them in discovering hope, guidance, and insight on the optimal path for their child and family.
Requirements:
1. The ability to evaluate educational needs and actively seek out creative teaching methods.
2. Should have QTS
3. Either hold an Enhanced DBS check or be prepared to obtain one through Randstad.
4. Willingness and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
5. The capacity to provide individualised support, reassurance, and assistance with educational tasks.
6. A strong understanding of child development and the learning process.
7. Possession of an up-to-date Enhanced DBS check or the willingness to obtain one.
8. Proficiency in the national Key Stage Curriculum.
9. Eligibility to work in the UK (Note: Sponsorship is not available).
Roles & Responsibilities:
10. Establish a dynamic and participatory learning atmosphere.
11. Able to assist learning in both individual and small group settings.
12. Skillfully engage in communication and cooperation with the classroom instructor.
13. Display patience, empathy, and effective communication while interacting with children.
14. Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and individual requirements.
15. Have a grasp of behaviour management strategies to promote positive conduct.
