We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Primary School Teacher to join our team, working with children who have a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Sensory Processing Issues, and Non-Verbal Communication. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the diverse needs of students with SEND. Provide targeted support for students with learning disabilities, fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with non-verbal communication and sensory requirements, using appropriate tools and resources. Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Create a safe, nurturing space where students feel valued, understood, and empowered to learn. Manage and support challenging behaviors with appropriate interventions and restorative practices. Track and report on student progress, adjusting teaching methods to help each student reach their potential. The Ideal Candidate: PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
