Communities and Social Impact Manager
Morrison Construction Central is seeking an experienced Communities & Social Impact Manager to support their team based out of our Robroyston office, covering sites across the central belt.
The Communities & Social Impact Manager is responsible for making sure all evidence relating to social value and community wealth measurements is captured from our projects. They must manage the projects assigned to them and maintain specific relationships relating to those projects, gather information on the local areas where we are working to ensure what we do is making an impact. The Communities and Social Impact Manager will report to Head of Communities and Social Impact to assist with future initiatives and innovations.
What you will be doing:
* Manage and report on all social value and community wealth achievements against set targets including demonstration of continuous improvement and innovation.
* Develop relationships and partnership working by establishing an effective communications system and maintain good relationships with stakeholders, the project teams and the supply chain.
* Establish links with establishments including education and employability providers to successfully deliver a full range of community benefit outcomes.
* Identify and share best practice and innovative approaches to employment and training.
* Promote, plan and deliver established and bespoke educational programmes to schools, colleges, universities and employability providers to both support and create training, development and employment opportunities across the whole supply chain.
* Provide regular reviews, assessments and achievements as required to support the creation and distribution of monthly progress reports.
* Record and maintain an accurate database of all activity carried out in connection with the role.
* Participate in regular review meetings as required.
* Investigate and secure funding streams where appropriate, including the provision of advice and support for our supply chain, to ensure all parties maximise the uptake in grant support funding for education and training opportunities.
* Support future bids and PQQs including the preparation and submission of written documents and presentations.
About You:
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Proficient in MS office packages.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Willingness to travel around sites in the central belt of Scotland.
