About the Role
Gr8 Connect are recruiting an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a busy transport and logistics operation based in Hemel Hempstead. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering goods safely, on time, and in line with company and legal compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out multi-drop and single-drop deliveries of goods across designated routes. 5-10 drops per day.
Complete all daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with company and DVSA standards.
Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes, tachograph entries, and timesheets.
Provide excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.
Adhere to all Health & Safety and Road Transport Regulations at all times.
Ensure vehicles are kept in a clean and roadworthy condition.
Requirements
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Minimum 2 years Class 2 driving experience.
Over 25 years of age (for insurance purposes).
No more than 6 penalty points on licence (no DR or IN endorsements).
Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Desirable Skills
Experience in multi-drop deliveries.
Good customer-facing communication skills.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends if required.
