PHP Backend Developer - Halifax Location: Halifax (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 We're currently working with a growing, tech-driven business in Halifax that’s looking to hire a PHP Backend Developer to support the continued development of their internal platforms. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than just a ticket-driven role — you’ll have the chance to contribute ideas, influence systems, and work across multiple products in a fast-moving environment. The Role You’ll be joining a small but experienced team, helping to scale and improve a suite of bespoke systems used both internally and by external partners. Day to day, you’ll be: Building and enhancing features across multiple platforms Working on a mix of new development, improvements, and some bug fixing Collaborating closely with the team to identify opportunities for optimisation Contributing ideas around system improvements and future direction Getting exposure to a variety of systems rather than a single product What we're looking for This role is as much about mindset as it is technical ability.
