We are looking for an Activities Champion to join the team in Plas Cae Crwn. You will help provide stimulation and encouragement to residents through entertainment, activities and community links, build positive relationships with service users and their families, and support fundraising events. All actions will be in accordance with the Home’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Formulate an activity profile for each service user through liaison with care staff.
* Ensure the safe and proper use of all equipment.
* Maintain accurate and legible records of service users’ activities.
* Liaise with the senior nurse on duty regarding outings.
* Research prospective outings to assess access and toileting facilities.
* Liaise with senior care assistants for medical or nursing care information about service users.
