EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Field team as a Metering Technician. This is a great role that keeps you busy out and about in our communities. The role includes carrying out a range of activities such as gathering meter readings and carrying out water efficiency checks. You’ll need to speak confidently to customers and guide them if any technical issues arise. Being a good team player who supports a positive team environment is important. A full UK Driving Licence is required. This role operates set shifts with no weekends.
Shifts
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am – 16:00pm
Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am – 15:45pm
This is an outdoor role, working in all weathers, so if you don’t mind being outside and love getting involved, this could be for you.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
* Strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
* Ability to plan, prioritise and resolve work effectively
* Ability to work in a demanding target-driven environment as part of a remote-based team
* Confidence to review and discuss work carried out by contract partners and challenge quality where required
* Ability to manage jobs through to completion, share learnings with your team and handle customer escalations and complaints where required
You’ll need to be proactive and have the right attitude to work on site most of the time. The right skills and experience matter, but if you have the right character, positivity and a caring attitude we want to talk to you.
