Events Coordinator – Sponsorship & Commercial
About the Role
Our Client is seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to manage and deliver exhibition and sponsorship programmes across a portfolio of events. This is a client‑facing role requiring strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a high level of organisation. You will be responsible for developing sponsor relationships, securing new commercial partners and ensuring sponsorship commitments are delivered consistently and professionally.
Please note, this role may require working outside standard office hours to support live events, including international travel.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all sponsorship and exhibition activity, ensuring a coordinated and consistent approach.
* Source and secure new exhibitors and sponsors through research, outreach and relationship building.
* Act as the main point of contact for all sponsor and exhibitor communications.
* Negotiate bespoke sponsorship and exhibition agreements in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
* Maintain and develop CRM systems, tracking leads, contracts and revenue.
* Provide regular reports and performance updates to senior management and the Board.
* Deliver exhibition logistics including booth allocation, exhibitor packs, onsite coordination, and build/breakdown.
* Maintain sponsorship and exhibition content across event materials and platforms.
* Manage sponsor and exhibitor content within the event app and support usage queries.
* Create and analyse sponsor and exhibitor feedback and support ROI reporting.
* Support wider Events team activity, system testing and procedural documentation.
Key Attributes
* Proven experience in sponsorship sales or event account management.
* Strong commercial and relationship‑building skills.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with senior stakeholders and Board members.
* Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft 365 and event platforms.
