Our client is recruiting for an experienced Customer Services Advisor to join their friendly and established team. The role is office-based, and this is a busy and fast-paced role working with a friendly and established customer services team. My client has been established for 75 years and offers an excellent work environment. JOB PURPOSE To coordinate and monitor the progression of customer orders through the system, ensuring accuracy is always maintained, and to provide administration support to the account manager and project managers where necessary. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES The main duties and responsibilities of this role are as follows: * To proactively monitor progress of orders, identifying issues, changes, developments, and potential problems. * To be the daily interface with the client on all order issues, dealing with enquiries in a professional and timely manner. * To process sales quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders through the system. * Communicate order requirements to the internal teams for the timely completion of orders. * Preparation and processing of Packing Lists as needed promptly. * To organise customer deliveries, including quoting, raising freight purchase orders, and the administration of all freight forwarding documents for global shipments. * Prepare export invoices for the relevant global shipments. Ensuring accurate export documentation is provided promptly. * Attend customer meetings with the Account, (Global) Program, and Project Managers as required. * To maintain customer price lists within the system, updating any external order documents with the updated prices. * To enter accurate information into the Company databases, including Excel. * To enter accurate information and ensure the order status is continually updated in the client’s ordering platforms. * Liaising with customers, the warehouse, and suppliers regarding delivery logistics. * Advise and respond effectively to any customer enquiries or requests * Dealing with all customer service issues, including managing complaints and customer feedback forms. * In collaboration with the Account, (Global) Program, and Project Managers, manage customer call-offs, including communicating with the customer. * Supporting the project management, product development, sales, and marketing teams as required. * Support the preparation of the weekly highlight reports and other necessary reports on project/order status as requested by the Account, (Global) Program, and Project Managers. * Prepare monthly KPI reports for all Sales Orders. * To assist in answering the incoming telephone calls received by the Company. * Undertake any other duties as assigned by your Line Manager. Skills & Experience * Effective oral and written communication * Organisational skills * Strong time management * Computer literate with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Project software * Minimum of three years of customer service experience within a busy office environment * Team player, strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and willing to travel when necessary. * Hours: 37.5 Hrs per week - Monday-Friday Benefits, Parking, Pension, 25 days holiday Bank Holiday.
