Your Role in Synergy’s Success You will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient production schedules to meet customer demands, optimize resource utilization, and ensure timely delivery of products. You will work closely with production, procurement, inventory, and quality control teams to coordinate operations and resolve scheduling conflicts. A team player with attention to detail. This is a busy role and as such must be able to have several things on your ‘radar’ at any one time Objectives, Roles and Responsibilities Publish Master Production Schedule including contract manufacturing to ensuring achievability Manage planning calendars Execute and maintain toolbox as well as techniques required to evaluate impact of proposed schedule changes. Assist Planning Team Leader in OTIF/ Weekly planning / daily update meetings Ensure constant communication with stakeholders where pertinent when proposed schedule changes arise Coordinate with supply chain and inventory management teams to confirm material availability Adjust schedules as needed due to changes in demand, machine downtime, or raw material delays Analyse production processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and cost effectiveness Assist in issue resolution - first line of support for all planning issues Interrogate OTIF to drive further improvements Maintain and raise minimum safety stocks Liaise between departments such as procurement, manufacturing, quality control Key Ingredients for Success Essential requirements: GCSE or equivalent qualification in Maths and English Experience of working with Microsoft products, excel, word etc. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Problem-solving mindset and adaptability under pressure.
