Linen and Uniform Assistant (Band 2)

We are seeking a Linen and Uniform Assistant to work within our Linen and Uniform team, based between Warrington and Halton hospital sites.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the post will be to undertake ordering, stock taking and daily monitoring and distribution of clean linen to wards and departments. To undertake enquiries, ordering, advise and distribution of staff uniforms and to undertake stocktakes as and when required.
The post-holder will require experience in handling and distribution of clean linen, experience in ordering processes and procedures, accurate record keeping, ability to work under own initiative and strong customer care skills.

Job responsibilities
To undertake the ordering, stock taking and daily monitoring and distribution of clean linen to wards and departments. To undertake enquiries, ordering, advise and distribution of staff uniforms. To undertake stocktake as and when required.

Physical Effort
* Ability to manually move cages/trolleys with stock, multiple time, on a daily basis
* Ability to handle stock and distribute from cages/trolleys to shelving daily
