This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled maths teacher ready to take the next step in their career, or an experienced second in department looking for a fresh challenge. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of maths at the school – supporting curriculum development, mentoring colleagues, and most importantly, helping our students thrive.

What you will do to be successful here:

1. Be strategic in considering new developments which improve student progress
2. Be passionate about supporting colleagues to develop their teaching and learning practice

4. Plan teaching to achieve progression in students’ learning
5. Identify the needs of individuals and groups within the class, taking note of individual education plans and the requirements of the code of practice, tailoring the teaching to take account of their identified needs

7. An ability to teach across a range of students of different ages and abilities
8. Have strong mathematical knowledge

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
