Year 5 SEND Teaching Assistant (Hounslow - Heston Area) We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Heston area of Hounslow that is passionate about supporting every child's unique learning journey. With a strong focus on nurturing and developing pupils with SEND, the school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil on a full-time, long-term basis. Key Responsibilities for a Teaching Assistant: Provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with special educational needs Continuously reflect on and improve your practice as a SEND Teaching Assistant Collaborate effectively with the class teacher and wider school staff Support the delivery of engaging, differentiated lessons Help track the pupil's progress and share observations with the teacher and SENCO Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for the pupil to thrive For this role, you will have: A minimum of 6 months' experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within a primary school Experience supporting children with SEND A reference to support your experience working with children An enhanced child-only DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one The ability to commute to the Heston area of Hounslow or live locally Pay Rate: £88 - £95 per day (PAYE), depending on experience.
