The purpose of this role is to provide Managed Inventory Services to Hospitals throughout the UK. This includes completing stock checks and delivering stock required to ward level.
Location: Southern based – Located between Bournemouth and Brighton
You’ll have the chance to collaborate with the warehouse team based in our National Distribution Center in Northampton and receive a full onboarding and training onsite to perform your work autonomously in the assigned hospitals.
Working hours: Monday-Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm with one rota day off per week.
Key Accountabilities
Operative
* Collate data on Inventory levels within each ward on Hospital sites.
* Check Orders in full upon arrival and distribute accordingly to ward levels.
* Maintain high standards when delivering products – keeping ward storage tidy, grouping products, removing/highlighting expiries
* Key point of contact for all Customer Queries on site and communicate information to back office.
* Manage all Product expiry date on site and record / distribute accordingly to resolve.
* Advise & Refit wards with appropriate Storage solutions to increase stock holding.
* Complete maintenance records for hire vehicles & report any faults.
* Contribute, Collate and attend Service reviews with customers.
* Audit pipeline Accounts to Advise service applicability & dimensions of storage solutions required.
* Completion of BAXU training on time.
* Key point of contact for all Customer Queries.
* Report any issues from site.
* Sign all PODs in full on behalf of customer.
* Recovery of all Baxter Equipment to NDC. Ensuring pallys are returned to NDC and Shellys are being used appropriately.

Experience
* Previous experience of working in warehouse operations or Hospital environment
* Previous experience in using Microsoft packages
* Successful experiencing in achieving operational KPIs
* Confident / Previous experience of long-distance driving
Knowledge
* Working knowledge & application of Lean Principles.
* Basic understanding of CQC protocol within hospital / clinical environment
Job Requirements
* Flexibility around working patterns.
* Valid UK Driving License – must travel throughout the UK as a lone worker.
* Full DBS check to be completed
* Fit to work - Manual handling
