Senior Security and Compliance Analyst

About you
The Senior Security and Compliance Analyst will serve as a senior technical specialist within the Security and Compliance function, supporting the Security & Compliance Lead in shaping and executing security and compliance strategies across internal operations and client environments. You will take ownership of complex technical tasks, act as an escalation point, and play a key role in strengthening our security posture. You will proactively identify risks, suggest improvements, and contribute to security controls, processes, and compliance initiatives. Collaboration with internal stakeholders, clients, and external auditors to maintain alignment with frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, and ISO 27001 will be essential.
Day-to-day responsibilities
* Act as a subject matter expert for complex security incidents, investigating root causes, supporting long-term fixes, and keeping customers informed
* Help customers meet security certifications and standards like Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001, guiding them through the process
* Deliver security awareness training and phishing simulations
* Support junior team members and help improve security incident handling
Skills and experiences
* Experience with tools like Microsoft Defender, Intune, vulnerability scanners, and managing Windows patching
* Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIST, and experience helping organisations achieve compliance
* Strong documentation and communication skills
* An interest in cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies
