Housed & Harnessed is a Bristol-based distribution company representing a curated portfolio of innovative outdoor and lifestyle brands across the UK. We work with some of the most exciting names in the outdoor and lifestyle space – from gear to drinkware to everyday carry. We are working hard to build each brand thoughtfully and sustainably within the UK market.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role sitting at the heart of our sales operation. You'll combine proactive outreach and account development with the operational support that keeps our sales pipeline and trade relationships running smoothly. You'll work closely with our sales agents and management team, helping grow our wholesale accounts and ensuring our trade partners have everything they need.

This is a full-time position, based at our Bristol office and reports directly to the Managing Director, who will work with you setting goals. Premises address is 13 Liberty Industrial Park, South Liberty Lane, Bristol, BS3 2SU.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and identify potential wholesale accounts across relevant retail channels
* Use contact research tools to identify key buyers and decision-makers
* Conduct outreach to prospective accounts via email, phone and LinkedIn, following up with samples and supporting materials
* Follow up with leads generated at trade shows, ensuring timely and professional contact
* Support sales agents by sending price lists, product samples, and brand materials
* Act as a reliable point of contact for trade enquiries, directing them appropriately and responding promptly
* Create orders in our order management system
* Raise invoices accurately and in a timely manner through our accounting platform
* Maintain and update price lists and order forms, including adding new products and removing discontinued lines
* Adapt US/international catalogues and other materials for the UK market
* Ensure trade-facing materials are accurate, professional, and up to date
Requirements - Essential
* Strong written and verbal communication skills – confident reaching out to buyers and representing our brands professionally
* Supremely organised with a meticulous attention to detail, particularly when managing data, documents, and follow-ups
* A creative problem solver who demonstrates out-of-the-box thinking
* Ability to highlight the key challenges and how to meet them
* A proactive and highly motivated team player who can work independently and manage time effectively
* Comfortable working across multiple systems and platforms
* Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload and priorities
* A genuine interest in outdoor, lifestyle, or consumer goods
* Meets the very highest standards of integrity and ethical behaviour
* Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask with solid organisational and time-management skills
Requirements - Desirable
* Experience in a wholesale, B2B sales, or trade coordination role
* Familiarity with distribution or multi-brand environments
* Experience using contact research or CRM tools
* Knowledge of the outdoor, sports, or lifestyle retail sector
