that is looking to appoint a
Production Planner
to support its planning and operations team.
This role plays a key part in maintaining the smooth and efficient flow of production by managing schedules, analysing performance, and driving collaboration across departments. It's ideally suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment and wants to contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives in a complex manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and review Master Production Schedules to ensure timely delivery and efficient resource utilisation.
* Analyse production data and performance metrics to support decision-making and improve effectiveness.
* Act as a link between production, supply chain, and commercial teams—supporting the wider S&OP process.
* Ensure ERP data is accurate, up to date, and aligned with planning activities and capacity requirements.
* Track and report on planning KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives across the planning function.
* Ensure production plans meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in production planning/scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (Epicor or similar), with strong Excel and data analysis skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally.
* Detail-oriented and well-organised with the ability to work under pressure.
