About the Roles
Teaching Personnel are working with SEND schools in the Portsmouth area to recruit qualified teachers and Learning Support Assistants. We have multiple roles available, with immediate starts for candidates ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
Role Responsibilities
Teachers:
Deliver engaging, SEND-focused lessons tailored to pupil needs
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
Work closely with LSAs and the wider school team to support children’s learning and development
Contribute to a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Learning Support Assistants (LSAs):
Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups
Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom
Support children with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs
Help create a nurturing and inclusive environment
Who We’re Looking For
Qualified teachers (QTS or equivalent)
Experienced LSAs or teaching assistants
Candidates passionate about working in SEND settings
Must hold an enhanced child-only DBS or be willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
