Legal Assistant/Receptionist

* Job Type: Part time – 3-4 days a week – Thursday/Friday will need to be 2 of the days.
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time/Legal Assistant/Administrator to join our client an established legal firm based in Easingwold. This role offers a varied and engaging experience, providing crucial support to fee earners through a range of tasks including typing, file management, form completion, administration duties, and financial statement preparation.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Draft and edit legal documents, correspondence, and client communications.
* Manage file administration, including opening, maintaining, and archiving both paper and digital files.
* Handle incoming/outgoing post, scanning, photocopying, and certified document stamping.
* Process disbursements, assisted with banking duties, and supported invoice finalisation.
* Deliver professional front-of-house service, managing calls, appointments, and client interactions.
* Maintain a clean, welcoming reception and meeting space.
* Conduct ID checks and followed firm policies and procedures.
* Support colleagues across departments with legal admin tasks and reception cover.
* Assist with meeting coordination, diary management, and general branch administration.
* Contribute to team meetings and maintained a collaborative office environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous legal experience is desirable but not essential, administrative experience at least.
* Proactive and positive approach to work.
* Ability to thrive within a busy team environment and support colleagues effectively.
* Exceptional client care capabilities, ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism and empathy.
