Caseworker
As a Caseworker, you’ll directly support clients dealing with complex issues primarily related to debt, housing, benefits, and employment. You will assess their situations, provide clear, actionable advice, and advocate on their behalf with local authorities and service providers. You’ll deliver specialist debt advice, helping clients to understand the options available to them, assist them in budgeting and maximising their income, and negotiate with creditors.
Responsibilities
* Support clients dealing with debt, housing, benefits, and employment challenges.
* Assess clients’ situations and provide clear, actionable advice.
* Advocate on clients’ behalf with local authorities and service providers.
* Deliver specialist debt advice and assist with budgeting and income maximisation.
* Negotiate with creditors on behalf of clients.
* Offer practical solutions and emotional support to help clients navigate difficult circumstances.
Qualifications & Attributes

* Strong listening skills, empathy, and clear communication.
* Ability to analyse complex problems and provide tailored advice.
* Experience or interest in debt, housing, benefits, or employment matters is desirable.
