Job Title: Account Manager – Corporate Fitness Centre Location: London and South, UK About the role: The Account Manager will work within the International Wellbeing Team to lead profitable organic growth for the Active Spaces contracts that are assigned by the Senior Account Manager/ Operations Director. The Account Manager will be accountable for the delivery and evaluation of our known wellbeing programmes, as well as developing future activity programmes in line with client needs, working closely with internal and external partners. You will be an inspirational leader with the ability to empower and develop your team, as well as other teams, in the creation and delivery of joint business plans to ensure continued client satisfaction, long-term retention and the delivery of agreed commercial outcomes. Your responsibilities: Work collaboratively within UK Health & Wellbeing division to drive optimisation of contracts, specifically the commercial growth and wellbeing services that align with the client’s Workforce Wellbeing proposition. This includes working closely with Wellbeing Services to develop strategies to achieve growth and optimisation within assigned contracts. Deliver and exceed the income and gross profit targets agreed for assigned Active Spaces contracts. Deliver long term success of contracts through developing client relationships and securing contract extensions/renewals for assigned Active Spaces as and when they are due. Support the Operations Director and the Senior Account Manager to devise, implement and evaluate the operational strategy to constantly meet and exceed the Active Spaces growth targets. Contribution to the monthly functional plans for all Active Space contracts assigned, constantly reviewing and evaluating performance and creating efficiencies where required. Provide effective and visible leadership to structure, manage, develop and motivate the Active Spaces teams within assigned contracts, to ensure that individual and team objectives are met. Work closely and collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business (including HR, finance, IT, propositions, marketing, CSR) and external stakeholders (including suppliers, contractors, specialists) to deliver and develop our Wellbeing proposition across the UK Active Spaces estate. Drive high performance, success, and best practice within the Active Spaces team, adopting a ‘high challenge, high support’ approach. Provide regular reporting to the overhead team within Active Spaces, summarising current updates and forecast performance levels across a range of metrics for Active Spaces. Ensure all documented policies and procedures within responsibility are maintained in accordance with company requirements. What you’ll bring: Degree level educated Experience leading the operational delivery of multiple corporate gym facilities. Ability to develop and implement operational business plans, budgets and goals. Direct client management experience, with a proven track record in business-to-business contract management services within the public. Proven experience managing successful commercial partnerships with customers, suppliers and other significant third parties. A willingness to embrace working within an insight-led culture whereby evidence-based decisions are made in relation to the target operating model, including but not restricted to propositions, processes and people. Working closely and collaboratively within a business unit overhead team to successfully deliver that business unit’s objectives and targets; and working collaboratively across the organisation. Attention to detail and resilience - you’ll need to be able to juggle multiple projects at any one time, (re)prioritise effectively and regularly but also maintain the highest attention to detail and accuracy. Articulate with strong communication skills (oral and written) Energetic, highly self-motivated with an enquiring approach, passion for excellence, continued improvement and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success Industry knowledge of trends, innovation, and user tendencies.
