Role Summary
Apple Engineer – London, 6‑month assignment.
As an Apple Engineer, you will set up and manage a fleet of corporate MacBooks through software, ensuring they remain secure and compliant. The project is currently in its pilot stage, so you will play a pivotal role in establishing this initiative. In addition to technical duties, you’ll address stakeholder inquiries and translate technical details for non‑technical team members.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Extensive experience using Jamf tools, both Protect and Connect.
* Active Jamf certification for managing software on corporate devices.
* Managed Apple environments in mid‑to‑large organizations (100+ employees).
* Strong code‑writing skills and deep technical knowledge of MacBooks.
* Effective stakeholder management; comfortable interacting with and supporting non‑technical colleagues.
* Highly proactive, self‑sufficient, and capable of managing workload independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, manage, and maintain corporate MacBooks through software to ensure full compliance.
* Oversee administration tools used for configuring devices, deploying updates, and enabling/disabling features across the Apple stack.
* Write code to support the management, configuration, and automation of Apple devices.
* Communicate with diverse stakeholders, field questions, and provide technical support to non‑tech colleagues.
* Proactively manage workload to advance the newly formed pilot initiative.
