About The Role
Shift Pattern: Any 4 out of 7. 10 hour shifts 08:00 - 18:00 or lates depending on the season 11:00 - 21:00 or 12:00 - 22:00. To carry out all aspects of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance within the Park to the highest possible quality levels ensuring the agreed standards are met.
Responsibilities
* Operations: Ensure consistent delivery of high quality maintenance.
* Work to maintenance plans to ensure high standards of product availability, operational presentation and customer satisfaction.
* Provide support and information to all maintenance teams and other departments.
* Consider other departments requirements and provide guidance and support as appropriate.
* Ensure the maintenance team work within all relevant legislation, guidelines and code of practice and that all procedures are adhered to.
* Worksheets are completed detailing exact nature of work carried out.
* Carries out fault diagnosis on all equipment as necessary.
* Ensure all contractors comply with relevant legislation, codes of practice and company procedures.
Marketing
* To develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of business operation and activities.
Financial
* Provide information on projected costs to enable budgets to be constructed.
* Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure best service.
* Identify methods of working differently in order to maximise resources on site. Assist in providing long term solutions for replacement of obsolete equipment by staying abreast of modern developments within the industry.
Development
* Actively supports new approaches and innovative solutions for maintenance issues.
* Provide specialist knowledge to managers, maintenance team and other departments in areas of relevant knowledge.
* Provide specialist knowledge in areas of training for multi skilled apprentices.
People
* Ensures engineering apprentices gain a good understanding of the business.
* To promote a culture which encourages input and initiatives by completing appraisals and objectives.
* Develop effective paths of two-way communication seeking ways of developing good service and delivery.
* Leads by example promoting the company standards and values.
* Ensures appraisals are done on a timely basis.
* Consider own training needs to enable self to keep at the forefront of modern technology and safety standards.
* Ensure the team has a clear understanding of their roles and the importance of positive response to business change.
* Proactively seeks to update personal skills and knowledge.
* Demonstrates commitment to company standards and values, and promotes effective working relationships with both internal and external customers at all levels.
* Is approachable while developing a team environment which retains its professionalism.
* Builds effective working relationships at all levels.
