We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a team at a specialist school in Effingham, near Leatherhead, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse and inspiring group of students, aged 11-16, who have associated behavioural and communication difficulties.
About the Role:
1. You will be working alongside teachers, providing direct support to students within the classroom.
2. You will be responsible for leading lessons in the absence of the class teacher and developing your skills to support teaching and learning.
3. You will be part of a collaborative and committed multidisciplinary team, working together to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

2. Experience working with students with autism and associated communication and behavioural difficulties.
3. The ability to lead lessons and deliver high-quality, differentiated educational activities.
