Our Chadderton Towpath Taskforce group meets from 10am to 2pm on the second Wednesday of every month at various locations between lock 60 - 64 of the Rochdale Canal. We tackle litter, cut back overgrown vegetation, paint locks, repair towpaths, replace fencing, lay hedgerows, and perform many other related tasks.
All tools and equipment are provided. Locations and meeting points are sent in advance of each session via our Monthly newsletter.
There are no formal skills required, and you will have the opportunity to volunteer across many unique and beautiful environments.
