Requirements to become a delivery partner
Deliver smiles, backed by Amazon. To become a delivery driver, you will need a valid UK driving licence, an iPhone or Android smartphone and a mid-size vehicle with 5 seats or larger. You will also need a UK National Insurance Number, proof of Right to Work in the UK, commercially valid hire and reward insurance, and to pass a background and criminal record check which includes, but is not limited to, a review of driving licence records. No previous experience as a transportation driver is necessary. Current Amazon employees are not eligible to be delivery partners.

Once you have uploaded all required documents and passed your background check, you can start delivering smiles, backed by Amazon. If Amazon Flex introduces blocks that can be delivered using scooters or other modes, different rates may apply. The number of packages assigned within a block aims to be realistic while enabling safe driving. Actual time per delivery may vary, so earnings per hour may vary.
