Internal Account Executive (Inside Sales)
Location: Remote (UK)
We’re supporting a growing SaaS business in the search for an Internal Account Executive to sit at the centre of their commercial function.
This role is designed to support the sales team by qualifying opportunities, progressing deals, and ensuring the pipeline is well structured. It’s a blended role combining lead qualification, sales support, and ownership of smaller opportunities.
The role
The Internal AE will work closely with Account Managers, Marketing, and wider commercial stakeholders to help move opportunities forward in a considered, professional way.
* Qualifying inbound and marketing-generated leads and converting them into sales-qualified opportunities
* Supporting Account Managers with live opportunities, follow-ups, and account activity
* Managing smaller opportunities end to end
* Maintaining accurate CRM data and supporting forecasting and pipeline visibility
* Keeping close to the market and developing a strong understanding of prospects and target audiences
About you:
* Has experience in inside sales, sales support, internal account management, or similar commercial roles
* Is comfortable picking up the phone and engaging prospects professionally
* Enjoys working with detail and structure, particularly within process-heavy environments
* Is commercially curious and interested in understanding customer needs
* Can work confidently alongside senior sales and technical stakeholders
