Job Description
This role sits firmly within IT & Digital and works in partnership with the Procurement Department. You will act as the front door for IT & Digital requests, helping ensure requirements are clear, compliant and progressed through the correct procurement routes. You will work closely with technical teams, suppliers and Procurement colleagues to help ensure technology is sourced efficiently, assets are accurately recorded and services run smoothly. You will act as the first point of contact for IT & Digital purchasing and asset queries, coordinating requests for hardware, software and services in line with agreed procurement processes. The role involves working closely with the Procurement and Asset Management teams to support compliant purchasing, maintain accurate records, and assist with supplier, contract and commissioning activity, while providing clear information to support effective decision‑making. This is a collaborative and varied role within a forward‑thinking IT & Digital team, where you will support technology purchasing and asset management while working closely with Procurement colleagues. You will be trusted, supported and encouraged to grow, with real opportunity to learn, contribute ideas and help shape how the service continues to improve. You don't need to know everything from day one – what matters is your willingness to engage, learn and bring a proactive, thoughtful approach to the role. In return, you'll be given the space and support to make this role your own and see your ideas turned into meaningful improvements.
