Salary - £27k dependent on experience - Pension with a 4% contribution, 25 days holiday increasing every year, 25% discount in our stores
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours. Our core business hours are Monday to Friday – 10am to 3pm with a flexible approach to start and finish times for ad hoc events in store, on-location shoots, and at our studio in Southampton.
Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home

Then this could be the job for you! We are recruiting for a Content Marketing Assistant, with key focus on helping us produce original, engaging content, to join the Marketing team at our Head Office in Christchurch, Dorset.
You’ll be working for the UK’s biggest hobbies and craft retailer with 115 stores and a strong creative vision. This is a fast paced and creative environment, where you will need a detailed eye, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the flexibility to face challenges and manage simultaneous deadlines.
About The Role
This pivotal role will focus on requesting and organising new products, collating business requirements & briefs as well as supporting and managing logistics on content shoots. You’ll work closely with the Creative Lead & wider marketing team, our external creative agencies, as well as cross-functional teams (including ecommerce and trade).

We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in making, crafting, and creative hobbies. The ideal candidate will be well-organised, proactive, self-sufficient, and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Creative Lead in producing original, engaging content aligned with the marketing calendar, seasonal campaigns, and trends in crafts and hobbies
* Organise all preparations for content shoots, including ordering products, arranging makes and models, and managing shoot logistics
* Handle all administration related to content production
* Coordinate with a network of freelance creatives, photographers, and agencies to develop inspiring content
* Brief out content for product packaging and the ‘Ideas’ section of our website
* Attend and support on all location shoots, and studio sessions as required to support content creation and gather assets
* Acquire key product launch/range review information from trade team and communicate to the wider marketing team
Key Skills

* Excellent written English and proofreading skills
* Strong attention to detail

* Team player with a flexible, hands-on attitude
* Interest in crafts, hobbies, or making
Requirements
* Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Practical experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, are desirable but not essential (video editing skills are a bonus)
* Some experience with social media content creation (desirable but not essential)
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car
