Role
Senior Account Manager – Join our busy team. You will be an excellent communicator, passionate about delivering high standards of customer service and have a real drive to succeed.
* Reports to: Head of UK Operations
Responsibilities
* Manage existing client accounts and build long‑term, trusted partnerships.
* Understand client goals and proactively identify opportunities.
* Manage a large volume of email and phone enquiries daily.
* Ensure contracts are issued accurately.
* Maintain contact to ensure repeat business and identify upsell opportunities.
* Carry out regular site visits to understand client requirements.
* Arrange and attend meetings to generate new business and manage relationships.
* Ensure customers receive the best possible service at all times.
* Handle complaints in line with company procedures.
* Ensure accreditation for events is complete.
* Prepare accurate quotes and schedules using our bespoke CRM system and Excel.
* Communicate all project information to all team members.
* Update client records ensuring current information is available at all times.
* Demonstrate strong understanding of client needs and manage them through to delivery.
* Obtain client feedback after each event and report to senior management.
* Attend relevant trade exhibitions, networking events and training.
* Work closely with the Head of Operations UK to ensure strong links between the Account Management and Scheduling teams, meeting client and staff needs.
Requirements
* Excellent communication skills.
* Highly organized and able to multi‑task.
* Willing to travel around the UK and worldwide.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changes.
* Ability to work flexible hours.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel.
* Great team player.
* Ability to identify problems in process and resolve them in a timely manner.
* Ability to work under pressure.
