Overview
The post holder is responsible to the CYP Senior Practitioner in relation to the performance of their day to day duties and for overall individual performance. The post holder will work closely with other members of the team. The Youth Work Team is part of Barca’s Children and Young People’s Service.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver group work sessions in a variety of settings within local communities.
* Support lead workers with the planning and delivering of groups, activities and tailored packages of support.
* Ensure availability on evenings between 4-9 to support the current youth work timetable.
* Engage positively with groups of young people, building positive relationships.
* Organise, be creative and manage commitments to support young people effectively.
Qualifications and requirements
* Experience in youth work delivery.
* Must be available between 2-3 evenings a week.
* Must have Youth Work experience.
