HaysMac is an award winning firm of chartered accountants and tax advisors, with over 40 partners and over 600 staff. Providing advice to entrepreneurs, fast-growing and owner-managed businesses, charities and not for profit organisations across the UK and internationally.The Projects and Change Manager will lead and deliver medium to large-scale technology and business process change projects, ensuring successful outcomes aligned with organisational objectives. The role will focus on digital transformation initiatives, system implementations, and process optimisation, while embedding change management principles across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology-focused projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to budget.Champion organisational change initiatives, working collaboratively with business stakeholders to redesign and optimise processes where required.Develop comprehensive project and change management plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business units, and external partners, ensuring effective and transparent communication.Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across project and change activities, proactively developing mitigation strategies.Monitor project progress, prepare regular updates for leadership, and ensure all documentation is maintained to a high standard.Prepare and maintain realistic project plans and documentation, providing accurate progress reports to stakeholders.Facilitate workshops and training sessions to support stakeholder engagement and adoption of new technologies and processes.Implement change control procedures and manage dependencies effectively.Promote best practices in project and change management, contributing to the continuous improvement of methodologies and tools within the team.Key RequirementsProven experience in project management and change management, with a focus on technology-driven transformations.Demonstrable track record of successfully delivering medium to large-scale projects in complex organisational environments.Strong understanding of business process analysis, redesign, and optimisation.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) and change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci) is highly desirable.Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with strong organisational and time management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.Relevant degree or professional qualification in project management, business, or a related field is preferred.Personal AttributesAdaptable and resilient in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.Pro-active and collaborative team player with a proactive and positive attitude.Committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Everyone is welcome to apply for our roles, and we are determined to ensure that no applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment because of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion, belief, age, marital status, background, pregnancy, or caring responsibilities.We also recognise the importance of diversity of thought within our teams and are fully committed to embracing the talents of people with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other forms of neurocognitive variation.We will always seek to make appropriate adjustments to recruitment, workplaces, and work processes to be fully inclusive to people with different needs and working styles.If you need us to make any reasonable adjustments for you from application onwards, please email recruitment@haysmac.com.
