Accounts Assistant
Location: Ascot
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch
My client based in Ascot is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience to join a global organisation.
The successful candidate will support the Accounting Manager across a variety of finance functions and will be highly organised, proactive and able to work accurately in a busy environment.
Daily Duties
* Processing purchase invoices and employee expenses
* Handling supplier invoice and payment queries
* Preparing mid-month and month-end payments
* Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register and bank reconciliations
* Processing daily bank transactions and sales invoices
* Maintaining supplier accounts and preparing customer/supplier statements
* Supporting Accounts Receivable and Order Processing duties when required
* Assisting with month-end processes and journal postings
* Managing supplier onboarding and raising purchase orders
* Ensuring accurate financial records are maintained at all times
Person Specification
* Previous Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience
* Strong IT skills including Excel and ideally Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Able to multitask, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
* Positive, proactive and a strong team player
* Professional and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
