Are you the Strategic Land professional looking to join one of the most successful land companies in the UK? This forward-thinking company is looking to add to its established Land team with the addition of an Strategic Land Manager within the North West region. Real opportunity to progress to Head of Land.
This is due to company success and continued growth which is creating lots of new opportunities.
You shall report into the Regional Director and will ensure relationships with land owners and agents are established and maintained.
This business is cash-rich, and are aggressively working on securing projects throughout Manchester, Liverpool and the greater North West.
Within the role, you will be carrying out Site evaluations including planning, technical and legal issues
You will also have a strong eye for detail and be proven to deliver work to a high standard with contacts and patch experience in Lancashire and Merseyside regions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Site evaluations including planning, technical and legal issues
* Create strong, effective relationships with existing clients and other potential sources of business on behalf of the firm
* Prepare fee proposals and assist in the preparation of marketing advice and strategies
* Provide professional advice surrounding strategic land agreements
* Obtain and analyse offers
* Draft heads of terms, liaising with solicitors to ensure sales complete within agreed timescales
* Negotiations with developers and landowners on options, restrictive covenants, uplift clauses etc
Key Experiences:
* At least 3-4 years’ Strategic land acquisition experience (commercial or residential)
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels
* Effective self-management to ensure deadlines are met
* Experience of building strong relationships, networking and promoting a business
* Ability to travel to meetings sometimes in remote or rural locations
Package:
* £75000 Basic (depending on experience)
