Job Description:
This Consultancy is seeking to appoint two Structural Engineers to add to their expanding team, as the company enjoys continued and sustained growth in its workload.
The successful candidates will be working as key members of the design team being involved on a variety of projects crossing Commercial, Leisure and Industrial sectors.
Typical duties will involve:
- Carrying out accurate designs in a variety of materials complying with relevant codes, standards and accepted good practice.
- Responsibility for verifying output of computer or manual designs.
- Obtaining and clarifying design and detail requirements from Senior/Principal Engineers and other required parties.
- Briefing Technicians, checking Technicians' output and co-ordinating issue of drawings.
Person Specification:
Candidates will be (or close to be becoming) Chartered (MIStructE/MICE) with up to 5 years experience.
Joining an organisation on the "up" you will enjoy being part of a team whilst also being able to work independently.
Design software used at this Consultancy includes CSC Fastrak, CSC Orion and Masterseries.
The Consultancy is also at the forefront of BIM implementation as it continues to evolve.
