Subject to formal establishment, Joint Boarding process and sS Policies a vacancy will arise for a OR6 to serve as SNCO 2 Joint Service Administration Unit (JSAU) at Shrivenham on FTRS Home Commitment (HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 02 Mar 2026. Unit Function: Provides the research, analysis, force development, joint training, education, doctrine and deployable joint command and control that underpin defence. Position Role: StanEval SNCO - Provide assured administrative support to the Defence Academy, parented units, and customers. Identifying improvements and efficiencies to move towards smarter ways of working that benefit both HR staff and customers. Responsibilities: To ensure the JSAU and parented units meet the criteria in the Personnel Administration Toolbox (PAT) to deliver J1 assurance for G1 inspection. To effectively manage the StanEval team ensuring the battle-rhythm for mgt checks, annual processes and JPA MI reports are run effectively. To ensure JSAU staff understand the reasoning behind the MI reports and educate how to amend or correct errors. Support Team Leaders, ensuring JSAU Lead Administrators are knowledgeable and competent in all areas of JSAU business. Co-ordinate and facilitate all training to JSAU Military and civilian staff, implementing understanding of criteria for correct payment of pay and allowances. To investigate and take corrective action on pay and allowances issues, raising Focal Point and I-Support queries where required. Management of the medallic administration process and IA deployment preparations. Deputise for JSAU FSA (OR7) in their absence as Unit Imprest A/C (Public Funds) Operator. Facilitating BACS, CILOR and the CO’s Public Fund (COPF).
