Cover Supervisor
Location: Dover, Kent
Salary: £90 - £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time and Part-time (Flexible Supply)

If so, then we at GSL Education Kent would love to hear from you. We are currently recruiting for dedicated Cover Supervisors to work within several reputable secondary schools across the Dover area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cover Supervisor who enjoys variety in their working week and wants to gain further experience in a school setting. Whether you are looking for five days a week or a more flexible schedule, we have various roles that require a strong, dependable Cover Supervisor.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be an essential part of the daily running of the school, stepping into various departments to deliver pre-set work. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be expected to:
* Supervise and lead classes across the secondary age range, delivering work left by the class teacher.
* Maintain a focused and productive learning environment through effective classroom management.
* Ensure all school policies regarding behaviour and safeguarding are strictly followed.
* Collect completed work at the end of the lesson and provide feedback to the department.
In order to be considered for this Cover Supervisor role, the candidate must:
* Have proven experience working in a UK classroom environment (this is essential for this position).
* Demonstrate the confidence to lead groups of up to 30 students independently.
* Possess excellent communication skills and a professional, reliable work ethic.
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Meet GSL’s safer recruitment background checks.
* Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
