Key Stage 2 Teacher – Full-Time, Long-Term Opportunity

Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 (dependent on experience)
Start Date: February 2026
A well-regarded primary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from February 2026. With a focus on inclusivity and whole-child development, the school offers a supportive environment where both staff and pupils are encouraged to thrive and reach their full potential.
This long-term position is open to experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to make a positive impact on their students’ education and development.
The Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will create a dynamic, engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and academic growth in your pupils.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of a range of learning abilities and styles
* Monitor pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement in the classroom
* Collaborate with colleagues on planning, assessment, and curriculum development
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development
* Contribute to extracurricular activities and the broader school community
What We’re Looking For
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (ECTs with relevant placements will be considered)
* Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Excellent classroom management skills and reflective teaching practice
* Passion for nurturing children’s academic and personal development
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
