Role Overview:
The SENCO will lead a team of learning support assistants and work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to deliver personalised support that enables every student to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee statutory SEND assessments and support plans for all students with additional needs

Provide training and guidance to staff on effective differentiation and inclusive teaching

Coordinate interventions and track impact on student outcomes

Foster a whole-school culture of inclusion and accessibility

Liaise with families and community partners to ensure holistic support
Essential Candidate Qualities:

QTS and NASENCO qualification
*
Extensive SEND leadership experience in secondary education

Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills
