Overview
We are seeking a Teacher of PE to join our team at Epsom and Ewell High School, part of Bourne Education Trust.
Our teachers are responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class, ensuring equity of opportunity for all, achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. All teachers are required to carry out the professional duties and responsibilities of a schoolteacher as defined by Teachers’ Standards and set out in the current School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document.

Position: Teacher - PE Specialist
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Teachers Main to Upper Pay Scale (Fringe - Surrey) £34,398 - £52,490

Key responsibilities
* Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability of the individuals and classes you teach, preparing and developing teaching materials and programmes as appropriate
* Be accountable for the attainment, progress and outcomes of all pupils within your class, planning to ensure pupils meet their potential
* Be aware of pupils’ capabilities, planning to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and lead SEN Support Arrangements where appropriate
Requirements
* Awareness of safeguarding of children
* Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
* Evidence of effective continuous professional development
* Experience in coordinating a subject
