Job Title: Workshop Engineer Location: Milton Keynes Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE) Annual Bonus Benefits Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems? Bolt Technical are hiring for our client for a Workshop Engineer who will work within a small, collaborative team to service, maintain, and customise machinery to meet specific customer requirementsensuring every project leaves the workshop ready for optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and prepare machinery for customer use following set checklists Build control panels using mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components Fault-find and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Design small-scale electrical and pneumatic systems to meet bespoke customer requirements Strip down, repair, and retrofit machinery parts as needed Program drives using manufacturer software and settings Move and manoeuvre heavy machinery safely using forklifts or pump trucks Collaborate with R&D, Service, and Stores teams to coordinate project requirements Document machine information accurately using Word, Excel, and other software Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment, adhering to COSHH and health & safety practices Support service engineers with machinery queries and technical guidance Promote the companys values, culture, and reputation in all interactions What Were Looking For: NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems Strong communicator with initiative and problem-solving skills Computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Awareness of COSHH and safe manual handling practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team on projects of varying complexity What They Offer: Competitive salary up to £35,000 (DOE) Annual company bonus 25 days holiday Christmas shutdown Health Cash Plan, Life Insurance, and up to 5% Pension Match Hybrid working (after training) Excellent career development and training opportunities in a supportive, social team environment Join a company where teamwork, technical expertise, and innovation are at the heart of everything they do.
