About the role:
An independent school in Haringey is searching for a dedicated German Teacher to join their modern foreign language department, starting asap, for a temporary duration. The right candidate will be able to teach German to key stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging German Teacher lessons, covering grammar, vocabulary, and cultural topics.
* Prepare students for assessments.
* Develop students’ language skills and intercultural understanding.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to the development of the German curriculum and resources.
* Organise and lead German related extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a specialism in German.
